Vitabase Serrazimes is a unique proteolytic blend of enzymes, derived from Aspergillus melleus and Aspergillus oryzae, edible fungi. It is designed to be an effective alternative to Serrapeptidase and is safe.

Serrapeptidase was orginally isolated from Serratia marcescens, which is often occurs in nature as a pathogenic bacterium. It was isolated from the intestines of the Japanese silkworm. In recent years, it has been employed to assist the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
